Online Store Terms and Conditions

(hereinafter referred to as the 'Regulations')

The current version of the Terms and Conditions is effective as of July 1, 2026.

§ 1. Definitions

Online Store – the website at https://www.eatolson.com, through which a Sales Agreement is concluded between the Seller and the Customer, and through which the Seller provides electronic services.

Terms and Conditions – these terms and conditions of the Online Store.

Service Provider / Seller – Aleksandra Cykowska, conducting business under the name Olson Aleksandra Cykowska, NIP: 5253082290, REGON: 544234981, address: ul. Wodzisławska 40, 44-200 Rybnik, Poland.

Consumer – a Customer who is a natural person entering into a legal transaction with an entrepreneur that is not directly related to their business or professional activity.

Customer / Buyer – a Consumer, a natural person conducting a sole proprietorship, a legal person, or an organizational unit without legal personality granted legal capacity by statute, who uses the Online Store and has entered into or intends to enter into an Agreement with the Seller.

Product – goods available in the Seller's Online Store that are the subject of a Sales Agreement between the Customer and the Seller. The Products offered by the Seller are extra virgin olive oils.

Order – a declaration of intent submitted by the Customer to conclude an Agreement with the Seller at a distance, via an electronic service, regarding a specifically identified Product.

Agreement / Sales Agreement – an agreement concluded between the Seller and the Customer for the sale of a Product at a specified price.

Business Day – a day falling from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

Order Form – an electronic service that allows the Customer to interactively fill in fields in order to place an Order in the Online Store, including by adding specific Products to the Cart, choosing a payment method, and choosing a delivery method.

Processing Time – the number of Business Days the Seller needs to prepare, complete, and ship the Products purchased by the Customer.

Cart – an electronic tool available in the Online Store that allows the Customer to collect Products before purchase and calculate the total value of the purchase.

Proof of Purchase – a fiscal receipt, VAT invoice, or other document confirming the sale of a Product.

Newsletter – an electronic service that allows the Customer to automatically receive recurring electronic messages from the Service Provider containing information about available Products, promotions, new arrivals, and other services in the Online Store.

Customer Account – an electronic service allowing the Customer to log in on the Online Store's website under an individual name (login – email address). The Customer Account collects data on Orders placed, Customer data, and information on marketing consents given.

Civil Code – the Act of 23 April 1964 – the Civil Code (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2026, item 795, as amended).

Consumer Rights Act – the Act of 30 May 2014 on Consumer Rights (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1796, as amended).

Electronic Service – a service provided electronically by the Service Provider to the Customer.

§ 2. General Provisions

  1. By using the services of the Online Store, the Customer accepts the content of these Terms and Conditions.
  2. In the event of a discrepancy between the provisions of these Terms and Conditions and the rights granted to a Customer who is also a Consumer under mandatory provisions of law, the generally applicable provisions of law shall take precedence.
  3. The Seller sells food products through the Online Store — extra virgin olive oils.
  4. To use the services of the Online Store, the Customer must have a device with internet access, an email address, and a current web browser with JavaScript and cookies enabled.
  5. The Seller implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data transmitted over the internet, including the use of the SSL protocol.
  6. All photographs of Products and other materials placed in the Online Store are the property of the Seller or have been used with the consent of the parties holding the rights to them. Copying and reproducing photographs, Product descriptions, or other materials without the Seller's written consent is prohibited.
  7. Product photographs are for illustrative purposes only and may differ from the actual appearance of the Product — differences may result, for example, from individual monitor settings, lighting conditions, or the way the photograph was taken. The Seller reserves the right to introduce changes to Product descriptions or prices. Changes introduced do not apply to Products ordered by Customers before the date the change was made.

§ 3. Electronic Services

  1. The Seller's provision of Electronic Services through the Online Store is free of charge.
  2. The following Electronic Services are provided through the Online Store:

    Presentation of Products together with descriptions;
    Customer Account;
    Cart;
    Order Form;
    Newsletter.


  3. Once created, the Customer Account remains active for an indefinite period. To create a Customer Account, the Customer should click the "create account" button, enter the email address to be used for login, and complete the form with the code received by email. [•]. The Customer may delete their Customer Account at any time by sending a request to: hello@eatolson.com.
  4. The Cart is a tool that allows the Customer to collect the Products they intend to purchase. The contents of the Cart may be freely modified.
  5. The Order Form allows an Agreement to be concluded by adding a Product to the Cart. To place an Order through the Order Form, the Customer should provide: first and last name, address, email address, phone number, and select a delivery and payment method. If a VAT invoice is requested, the Customer should also provide the company name and NIP (tax ID).
  6. Use of the Newsletter is possible after providing an email address in the relevant field of the Online Store and consenting to receive it. The Customer may unsubscribe from the Newsletter at any time via the link included in the Newsletter email or by sending a message to: hello@eatolson.com.

§ 4. Conclusion of the Agreement and Placing Orders

  1. The Sales Agreement is concluded once the Customer places an Order through the Order Form — after selecting the Products, delivery method, payment method, and clicking the button finalizing the Order. Confirmation that the Agreement has been concluded occurs upon the Customer's receipt of an email confirming the conclusion of the Sales Agreement.
  2. The Customer can review the costs and methods of delivery while placing an Order, in the course of completing the Order Form.
  3. After the Order is placed, the Seller promptly confirms its receipt and acceptance for processing by email.
  4. The Customer may make changes to the Order or cancel it up until it is confirmed by the Seller.
  5. All Products available in the Online Store are original, new, and compliant with the requirements set out in generally applicable law.

§ 5. Rules for Using the Online Store

  1. The Customer is required to use the Online Store in a manner consistent with applicable law, these Terms and Conditions, and good practice.
  2. When using the Online Store, the Customer is required to provide their true, accurate data.
  3. The Customer shall use the services of the Online Store in a way that does not disrupt its functioning. Providing unlawful content or content that violates good practice is prohibited. The Customer may use the content published in the Online Store only for personal use.
  4. The Order Processing Time (preparation and readiness for shipment) together with delivery is 2 to 5 Business Days and is counted:

    if the Customer chooses electronic payment — from the day the full payment amount is credited to the Seller's account.


  5. The Seller reserves the right to organize promotions on selected Products. The terms of promotions are made publicly available on the Online Store's website. Promotions do not apply to Products ordered before the promotion took effect.

§ 6. Payment Methods

  1. The Seller accepts the following payment methods:

    electronic payment or payment card via the Przelewy24 service.


  2. If the Customer chooses bank transfer or electronic payment, the Customer is obligated to make the payment within 3 calendar days from the date the Sales Agreement is concluded. Failure to pay within this period results in automatic cancellation of the Order.
  3. The price of each Product shown on the Online Store's website is in Polish zloty and includes VAT (gross price).
  4. The total value of the Order, including the price of the Product, taxes, and delivery costs, is shown on the Order Form page before it is finalized.

§ 7. Withdrawal from the Sales Agreement

  1. The provisions of this § 7 apply only to a Customer who is a Consumer or an Entrepreneur with Consumer rights.
  2. Pursuant to Article 27(1) of the Consumer Rights Act, the Consumer may withdraw from the agreement within 14 days without giving a reason.
  3. The period for withdrawing from the agreement runs from the moment the Consumer takes possession of the Product (delivery of the Product).
  4. Withdrawal from the Agreement is made by submitting a statement of withdrawal, sent in writing to the Seller's address or electronically to: hello@eatolson.com. A withdrawal form, attached as an appendix to the Terms and Conditions, may be used, but this is not mandatory.
  5. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send the statement before the deadline expires.
  6. After withdrawing from the Agreement, the Consumer must return the Product within 14 days to the address: ul. Wodzisławska 40, 44-200 Rybnik, Poland. To meet this deadline, it is sufficient to send the Product before the deadline expires.
  7. The Consumer bears the costs of returning the Product.
  8. The Seller shall refund all payments received within 14 days of receiving the statement of withdrawal, using the same payment method the Consumer used when placing the Order, unless otherwise agreed.
  9. The Seller may withhold the refund until the Product has been received back or proof of its return shipment has been provided.

Important exceptions to the right of withdrawal for olive oil:

  • Pursuant to Article 38(1)(4) of the Consumer Rights Act, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods delivered in sealed packaging which, once opened, cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons — if the packaging has been opened after delivery;
  • Pursuant to Article 38(1)(1) of the Consumer Rights Act, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that deteriorate quickly or have a short shelf life.

§ 8. Subscriptions

  1. The Customer may choose the frequency of Product deliveries among the available Subscription options, and may change this frequency at any time during the Subscription, in accordance with the rules described in these Terms and Conditions.
  2. Payment for each subsequent Subscription period is charged automatically using the Customer's selected payment method, according to the chosen frequency. By activating a Subscription, the Customer consents to recurring charges to their card.
  3. The Customer has the right to cancel the Subscription at any time, without giving a reason, by clicking the cancel button in their Customer Account in the Online Store (also available in the email confirming enrollment in the Subscription) or by sending a message to: hello@eatolson.com, containing a statement of resignation from the Subscription.
  4. The Customer has the right to pause the Subscription for a period specified by the Customer, by clicking the pause button in their Customer Account in the Online Store or by sending a message to the email address indicated in paragraph 3.
  5. Cancellation of the Subscription takes effect at the end of the current billing period, meaning the Customer will receive the final Product delivery according to the schedule set for the current billing period established before the cancellation.
  6. In the event of Subscription cancellation, the Customer is not entitled to refunds for Products already paid for and delivered before the cancellation of the Subscription.
  7. The Customer has the right to withdraw from the Subscription agreement within 14 days of concluding it, without giving a reason. The provisions of § 7 of these Terms and Conditions apply accordingly to withdrawal from the Subscription agreement.
  8. The Customer will be informed of any changes to the Subscription terms with reasonable advance notice. Such changes do not affect Subscriptions already paid for or currently being fulfilled.
  9. The Customer has the right to file a complaint regarding the Subscription or delivered Products in accordance with the general complaint terms described in the Complaints and Returns Policy.

§ 9. Out-of-Court Dispute Resolution

  1. Detailed information on the Consumer's options for out-of-court complaint handling and claim resolution is available on the website of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) at: https://uokik.gov.pl/pozasadowe_rozwiazywanie_sporow_konsumenckich.php
  2. A contact point operates at the Office of the President of UOKiK (tel. 22 55 60 333, email: kontakt.adr@uokik.gov.pl, address: Pl. Powstańców Warszawy 1, 00-030 Warsaw).
  3. The Consumer may, among other options, make use of: (1) an application to a permanent consumer arbitration court; (2) an application to the provincial Inspector of Trade Inspection; (3) assistance from a county consumer ombudsman or organizations such as the Consumer Federation (porady@dlakonsumentow.pl, helpline: 801 440 220).
  4. The Consumer may also use the online dispute resolution (ODR) platform available at: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr, which is used to resolve disputes between consumers and businesses. The Seller's email address: hello@eatolson.com

§ 10. Personal Data

The rules for processing Customers' personal data are set out in the Privacy Policy, available at: https://www.eatolson.com/pl-pl/pages/polityka-prywatnosci

§ 11. Complaints Related to the Functioning of the Online Store

  1. The Seller makes every effort to ensure the continuous operation of the Online Store.
  2. To the fullest extent permitted by generally applicable law, the Seller is not liable for interruptions or disruptions in the availability or functionality of the Online Store resulting from force majeure, failures and technical problems, the need to update or modify the software used to operate the Online Store, unlawful actions of third parties, or incompatibility or failures of devices or networks used by the Customer.
  3. Customers have the right to file a complaint regarding irregularities in the functioning of the Online Store by email, to: hello@eatolson.com.
  4. A complaint should include: the Customer's first and last name, correspondence address, and a description and date of the irregularity that is the subject of the complaint. The Seller reviews complaints within 14 days and sends a response to the correspondence address provided by the Customer in the complaint.

§ 12. Final Provisions

  1. These Terms and Conditions have been in effect since July 1, 2026.
  2. Polish law is the governing law. Disputes will be resolved by the competent common court.
  3. The Seller reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions for important reasons (changes in law, changes to payment methods, changes to the Online Store's functionality). Customers will be informed of any change by publication of the new content of the Terms and Conditions on the Online Store's website.
  4. A change to the Terms and Conditions does not affect Sales Agreements already concluded.
  5. In matters not regulated by these Terms and Conditions, the provisions of the Civil Code and other relevant provisions of generally applicable Polish law shall apply.
  6. The rules for submitting and handling complaints and returns are set out in the Complaints and Returns section, available at: https://www.eatolson.com/pl-pl/pages/reklamacja-i-zwroty. The rules set out in the Complaints and Returns Policy form an integral part of these Terms and Conditions.
  7. The Delivery Policy, if published separately, forms an integral part of these Terms and Conditions and is available at: https://www.eatolson.com/pl-pl/pages/b2b?view=dostawa
  8. These Terms and Conditions do not exclude or limit any rights of Consumers arising from mandatory provisions of law. In the event of a conflict, the provisions of law shall take precedence.
